![]() Ultra Goth II Not as stella a night as we could have hoped for. Its seems your tolerance for 2 gothic nights in the same year is non existent. To those of you that came thanks for your support of a musical genre that stands on the brink of distinction. Once more goth tunes filled savage with their heavy guitar meandering through the darkest places of our souls. That was of course when the dj's were on form. However, at one point in the evening, there was a heated debate when a number of retro tunes crept into a set. Talk talk on a gothic evening?. But it was soon balanced out when another Dj decided to play Suicide commando ?. Ahem, as the name implies they are an extreme gothic outfit adhering to the Bushido code as set out by Andrew Eldridge in the song this corrosion, turn cold ,burn like a healing hand. Despair, black doom laden despair. Sigh. But never fear as long as we have wardrobes that contain velvet goth shall live on. I now see it as my solemn duty to persevere until goth is once more raised phoenix like from the ashes. Or at least to a state where its tunes can fill the Savage garden with black clad bodies.
